Sending WhatsApp templates: overview of all file size limits

WhatsApp templates support different file types and text fields, but each of them has its own format and size limits.

Only one image is allowed. Supported formats are .PNG and .JPG. The maximum file size is 10 MB.

Video
Only one video file is allowed. Supported formats are .MP4. The maximum file size is 10 MB.

Document
Only one document is allowed. Supported formats are .PDF. The maximum file size is 10 MB.

Header text
Maximum 50 characters.

Body text in a regular text message
Maximum 512 characters.

Footer text
Maximum 60 characters.

Button text
Maximum 25 characters.
